Hollywood Celebrities Who Are Courageous to Shine For Jesus

Being in the spotlight is not easy, yet it is a very good platform to share what you believe in. Let’s look at these celebrities who are courageous to share their Christian faith and shine for the Lord!

Denzel Washington

Despite his busy schedule, Denzel Washington regularly attends West Angeles Church of God in Christ in Los Angeles. He puts top priority in his faith. In fact, during his commencement speech at Dillard University, he boldly encourages the students to “put God first” and to bring back all the glory of their success to Him which he himself does.

Chris Pratt

Chris Pratt is also known for proclaiming his faith every time he has the chance to do so. In fact, upon receiving an award at the Teen Choice Award 2018, Pratt boldly declared that he loves God and he encouraged young people to love God too. Pratt tied the knot with Katherine Schwarzenegger (daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger) back in June this year. The newlyweds revealed that they first met at the church. In fact, the couple is often spotted attending church together while dating. According to a source, the two have chosen to abstain from sex until marriage based on their Christian belief.

Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber has also been so vocal about his faith. He attends Churchome church in Los Angeles and after his engagement with Hailey Baldwin, he was spotted carrying Timothy Keller’s, ‘The Meaning of Marriage‘. He has also been open to mentorship and has been mentored by Churchome’s lead pastor Judah Smith.

Jason Kennedy

Jason Kennedy, the host of E! News, is a devout believer that believes in discipleship. He is actually leading a celebrity-packed bible study group which reportedly included Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, and Justin Bieber. He even stated that the bible study is the reason he can survive in Hollywood.

Thank God for these Hollywood actors and actresses who are very open in declaring their faith. They need a community of believers to help them grow in their relationships with God so that their light may shine brighter. So let us continue to intercede for them and pray that more people can see Jesus through their lives.
